What are Beclate Rotacaps 400? Beclate Rotacaps 400 are a prescription asthma preventer.
Each rotacap holds 400 micrograms of beclometasone dipropionate.
That is the highest of the three Beclate rotacap strengths.
Beclometasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid, or steroid.
They are made by Cipla Ltd. in Solan, India.
The capsule contains a fine powder, not a liquid.
Beclate Rotacaps 200 mcg used with a Rotahaler inhaler device.
Preventative treatment of asthma.
Control of persistent asthma.
Mild asthma needing a reliever regularly.
Moderate asthma that is unstable or worsening.

How Beclate 400 Works (Mechanism of Action) The action happens in five simple steps:
In asthma, the airway lining becomes inflamed and swollen.

A critical point about beclometasone doses:
Doses are not interchangeable between different devices.
The US aerosol is dosed at 40 to 320 micrograms twice daily.
One 400 rotacap exceeds the largest single dose used there.

Breathe in deeply and steadily through your mouth.

Check the capsule is empty; repeat the inhalation if not.
Remove and discard the empty capsule shell.
Rinse your mouth with water afterwards and spit it out.
Using it correctly every day:
Use it at the same times each day, usually morning and evening.
Keep using it even when you have no symptoms.
Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
Keep the Rotahaler clean and dry.
Always keep your reliever inhaler with you as well.
Precautions Do Not Use Beclate Rotacaps 400: If you are allergic to beclometasone or any ingredient.
If you are allergic to lactose or milk protein.
The label notes these can form along the spermatic cord.
To relieve a sudden asthma attack .
On the skin, in the nose or in the eyes.
In children, as this strength exceeds their daily maximum.
