What is Sildigra 25 mg?

  • Sildigra 25 is sold as a sildenafil tablet for erectile dysfunction.

  • Each tablet contains Sildigra 75 mg of sildenafil citrate.

  • Sildenafil belongs to the PDE-5 inhibitor drug class.

  • The same molecule is sold under the brand name Viagra.

  • Viagra was first approved in the United States in 1998.

  • No source found names the manufacturer of Sildigra 120.

  • The tablet is swallowed whole with water.

  • Its other strengths and pack sizes could not be confirmed.

  • It helps men achieve and maintain a firm erection.

  • It works only when you are sexually aroused.

  • It does not increase sexual desire or libido.

  • It does not protect against HIV or other infections.

  • It is not a contraceptive and does not prevent pregnancy.

  • It does not cure erectile dysfunction.

  • Sildenafil is also used for lung artery hypertension.

  • That use needs 20 mg three times daily, not this dose.

  • Use this strength only under direct medical supervision.

How Sildenafil 100 mg Works (Mechanism of Action)

How sildenafil compares with the other PDE-5 inhibitors:

  • Sexual stimulation releases nitric oxide in the penis.

  • Nitric oxide raises levels of a messenger called cyclic GMP.

  • Cyclic GMP relaxes the smooth muscle of the corpus cavernosum.

  • Sildenafil blocks PDE-5, the enzyme that breaks cyclic GMP down.

  • Blood flows in more easily and an erection forms.

  • PDE-5 is the main enzyme breaking down cyclic GMP in penile tissue.

  • Blocking it keeps cyclic GMP levels higher for longer.

  • Without sexual stimulation, sildenafil produces no erection.

  • It has some activity at a related enzyme called PDE-6.

  • PDE-6 sits in the retina and affects colour vision.

  • That is why blue-tinged vision can occur with sildenafil.

How to read this table:

  • Every dose shown is from the approved sildenafil prescribing information.

  • All approved figures apply to swallowed film-coated tablets.

  • Most men begin at 50 mg rather than 25 mg.

  • Several groups should begin at Sildigra 100 instead.

  • This strength delivers the lower dose without splitting tablets.

  • Your doctor decides whether this strength suits you at all.

  • Never raise your own dose because a lower dose felt weak.

  • This medicine is taken as needed, so missed doses rarely apply.

  • Never take two tablets to make up for one.

  • Never exceed one tablet in 24 hours.

  • Do not combine it with any other sildenafil product.

  • High doses caused low blood pressure and fainting in volunteers.

  • They also caused prolonged erection at doses of 200 to 800 mg.

  • Contact a doctor or poison centre immediately after an overdose.

How to Take Sildenafil 25 mg

  • Confirm with your doctor that this strength is right for you.

  • Ask whether 50 mg or 25 mg would be a safer starting point.

  • Check the blister and reject any that is torn or empty.

  • Swallow one tablet whole with a glass of water.

  • Do not crush the tablet or break it into pieces first.

  • You may follow it with a sip of water if you wish.

  • Take it about one hour before sexual activity.

  • It may be taken with or without food.

  • A heavy, fatty meal can delay the onset of the effect.

  • Wait for sexual stimulation, as the tablet alone will not work.

  • Allow at least 24 hours between two doses.

  • Do not combine it with any other ED medicine.

Practical usage tips:

  • The effect typically lasts about four to five hours.

  • Rise slowly from sitting or lying for the first few hours.

  • Avoid driving until you know how the dose affects you.

  • Stop sexual activity and seek help if chest pain occurs.

  • Check the sweetener content if you have diabetes.

  • Tell your doctor if erections remain poor after several attempts.

  • Poor response usually means the cause needs investigation.

Precautions

Absolute Contraindications – Do Not Use Sildenafil If You:

  • Take any nitrate medicine, regularly or occasionally.

  • Use nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate or isosorbide dinitrate.

  • Use recreational nitrites known as “poppers”.

  • Take any other nitric oxide donor medicine.

  • Take riociguat or another guanylate cyclase stimulator.

  • Are allergic to sildenafil or any ingredient in the tablet.

  • Have lost vision before due to non-arteritic ischaemic optic neuropathy.

  • Had a heart attack or stroke within the last six months.

  • Have unstable angina or angina during sexual intercourse.

  • Have uncontrolled high or very low blood pressure.

  • Have severe heart failure or an uncontrolled irregular heartbeat.

  • Were told that sexual activity is unsafe for your heart.

  • Are a woman, a child or a teenager below 18 years.

  • That contraindication applies to nitrates in any form.

  • Tell any emergency doctor you have taken sildenafil.

Conditions You Must Disclose to Your Doctor

  • Any heart disease, chest pain or past bypass surgery.

  • Any irregular heartbeat or heart failure.

  • High blood pressure or low blood pressure.

  • Any blood pressure medicine, especially amlodipine.

  • Kidney disease or a history of dialysis.

  • Liver disease, hepatitis or cirrhosis.

  • Retinitis pigmentosa or any inherited eye disease.

  • Whether an optician has told you that your optic disc is crowded.

  • Any previous sudden vision loss in either eye.

  • Any previous sudden hearing loss or ringing in the ears.

  • Stomach ulcers or any bleeding disorder.

  • Sickle cell anaemia, leukaemia or multiple myeloma.

  • Any antifungal, antibiotic or HIV medicine you take.

  • All prescription, herbal and over-the-counter products you use.

Food and Drink Precautions

  • Sildenafil may be taken with or without food.

  • A heavy, fatty meal can delay how quickly it works.

  • A lighter meal before the dose is preferable.

  • Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice while using this medicine.

  • Grapefruit blocks CYP3A4 and can raise sildenafil levels.

  • Keep alcohol moderate, as both lower blood pressure.

  • Heavy drinking also worsens erectile performance in itself.

  • Check the sweetener content if you have diabetes.

Before-Use Safety Checklist

Notes on the eye and ear warnings:

  • Blue-tinged vision comes from sildenafil acting on retinal PDE-6.

  • That effect is usually mild, brief and not dangerous.

  • Sudden loss of vision is a completely different matter.

  • It can indicate non-arteritic ischaemic optic neuropathy.

  • Men with a crowded optic disc may be at increased risk.

  • An optician can tell you whether that applies to you.

  • Labelling also advises stopping for sudden hearing loss.

  • Both require prompt medical attention, not watchful waiting.

Drug Interactions – Avoid or Use With Caution

Never combine sildenafil with these:

  • Nitrates in any form, including sprays, patches and tablets.

  • Recreational nitrites, commonly sold as “poppers”.

  • Any other nitric oxide donor medicine.

  • Riociguat and other guanylate cyclase stimulators.

  • Other PDE-5 inhibitors such as tadalafil or vardenafil.

  • Any other sildenafil product, including those for lung pressure.

  • Alpha-blockers: doxazosin, tamsulosin, alfuzosin, terazosin.

  • Blood pressure medicines, including amlodipine.

  • Ritonavir and other HIV protease inhibitors.

  • Ketoconazole, itraconazole and other azole antifungals.

  • Erythromycin, clarithromycin and other macrolide antibiotics.

  • Saquinavir and cimetidine.

  • Rifampicin, which lowers sildenafil levels instead.

  • Grapefruit juice, which can raise sildenafil levels.

Interaction outcomes to understand:

  • Nitrates plus sildenafil can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.

  • Ritonavir raised sildenafil exposure eleven-fold in one study.

  • The approved limit with ritonavir is 25 mg in 48 hours.

  • This 25 mg tablet matches that limit exactly.

  • Erythromycin raised sildenafil exposure by about 182 percent.

  • Amlodipine plus 100 mg sildenafil lowered blood pressure further.

  • That additional fall was about 8 over 7 millimetres of mercury.

  • Alpha-blockers plus sildenafil can cause fainting on standing.

  • Your range now includes all three main PDE-5 molecules.

  • A buyer could take two of them without realising the overlap.

  • Cross-link these pages so the duplication is visible.

Emergency Warning Signs – Seek Urgent Medical Help

Call emergency services or go to hospital immediately if you have:

  • An erection lasting longer than four hours (priapism).

  • A painful erection of any duration.

  • Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes.

  • Sudden decrease or loss of hearing, with or without ringing.

  • Chest pain, pressure or tightness during or after sex.

  • Pain spreading to the jaw, neck, shoulder or left arm.

  • Severe dizziness, fainting or collapse.

  • Shortness of breath at rest or with light effort.

  • Irregular, racing or pounding heartbeat.

  • Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.

  • Widespread rash or difficulty breathing or swallowing.

  • A seizure or sudden confusion.

  • Numbness or weakness on one side of the body.

Critical instruction for chest pain:

  • Tell every treating doctor that you took sildenafil.

  • State the exact time and the dose taken.

  • Nitrates must not be given while sildenafil is still active.

  • Priapism needs treatment within hours to protect penile tissue.

  • Sudden vision or hearing loss needs same-day assessment.

Why Choose This Medicine?

Benefits of the sildenafil molecule:

  • Sildenafil has the longest clinical record of any PDE-5 inhibitor.

  • It has been approved and studied since 1998.

  • Its effect typically begins within about an hour.

  • It can be taken with or without food.

  • Three approved strengths allow careful dose adjustment.

  • It can be taken without a drink of water to hand.

  • Generic pricing makes treatment more affordable.

  • Sildenafil itself is a long-established, well-studied molecule.

Honest balance for the buyer:

  • The dose can be raised to 50 mg or 100 mg if a doctor advises.

  • Most men are meant to start at 50 mg instead.

  • Several groups should start at 25 mg, which this cannot give.

  • Its effect lasts hours, not the day and a half tadalafil offers.

  • Visual disturbance is more characteristic of sildenafil.

  • It does not cure erectile dysfunction or raise desire.

  • ED can signal heart disease or diabetes, so get assessed.

  • A valid prescription and medical review remain essential.

Storage Instructions

  • Store at controlled room temperature, ideally 20°C to 25°C.

  • Keep every tablet sealed in its blister until use.

  • Keep the tablets in the blister strip until use.

  • Do not store loose tablets in a pill box or pouch.

  • Protect from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.

  • Do not refrigerate or freeze the tablets.

  • Examine the blister and reject any that is torn or empty.

  • Keep the pack out of sight and reach of children.

  • Keep the strip out of the reach of children.

  • Store them well out of reach for that reason.

  • Keep away from pets at all times.

  • Check the expiry date printed on the blister and carton.

  • Do not use tablets that are chipped, discoloured or damp.

  • Do not transfer tablets into unlabelled containers.

  • Return unused tablets to a pharmacy take-back scheme.
