Product Description

Rabeprazole Injection is indicated for treatment of gastric problems associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. Administered via intravenous route, it shows bioavailability of around 52% with protein binding ability of 96.3%. This injection works by blocking activity of H+/K+ ATPase pump responsible for secretion of gastric acid. It belongs to drug class of proton pump inhibitors and is known to be absorbed in parietal cells of stomach to exert its curative effects. Active compound of Rabeprazole Injection has chemical formula C18H21N3O3S with molecular weight of 359.44 g/mol. It gets metabolized in liver by CYP2C19 and CYP3A4.
